Here are some examples in what I mean by ''applying the post production" ... exhibit 1:
Original:
A)Filter texture application
B) Light highlights
c) Sunset colour filters (since Yu comments about how 'warm' it is and makes him feel a bit sick, plus will contrast to the 'cold' colours of his room).
d) Creepy filter (it's actually a dark blue gradient at the bottom right corner to contrast with the pools of lights and give it a slightly ominous atmosphere. Subtle but necessary).
e) Special nightime version which wouldn't be used but stil quite effective in a weird way?
Thank you so much Michelle! Once ML has finished (tomorrow) would it be okay for you to do more background stuff?! I seriously can't thank thee enough...I'm so pumped about this project again :DDDD
OMG YOU MADE IT SO SMEXY
ReplyDeleteTHIS IS

C IS MY FAVE
BUT A IS LOVELY TOO
THEY'RE ALL AWESOME
OMG OMG OMG *W*
and yes!! i can do as many as you need me to jade! just send a text/tweet when a new bg is ready, im at home all day and probably on the internet applying for jobs so YYEEEESSS!! now is the time haha
ReplyDeleteLooking good. The originals were of course awesome and these add to that awesomeness. The sun beams however I think add so much to it. I think my favourite is C, makes it feel really relaxed and warm. I think they're all pretty spot on. Is excited about when we get more BGs done.
ReplyDeleteOne thing we should probably do when the creepy bits are sort of coming up, is to have one light flicker, or to have it broken. Or for the door to not open on first try, just to add a bit of strangeness to what was normal.
ReplyDeleteIndeed! C is also my fave but cos this is a horror game, it has to have the creepy filter on (which is rly subtle anyway) XD
ReplyDeleteYES YES YES. I shall send you hi res pics soon!!! Do you have a dropbox account? I can send you an invite to the group shared folder!!
hmm... i think i have a dropbox? o__o yes i do apparantly. do i need to send you details? :o
ReplyDeleteInvite sent to your hotmail :D
ReplyDeleteAlso, Rumzi:
ReplyDeleteDrawing the pools of light took a few secs, I can easily export it and apply the flicker code I used in the OP here just to give it some movement so it's v. easy to do :D
I like what you have done with the place! :P These are really excellent, mucho impressed! My favorite is the last one in terms of shadows - but I think C has the most train like feel about it.
ReplyDeleteMy photo editing skills have finally come into use >__<! XD
